The second ever collection Larry Kornegay created for Kornegay Design, the Faceted Series of precast concrete landscape containers communicates the spirit of the Sonoran Desert through the lens of contemporary design and architecture. “Even back in the early days, I would always conceptualize the design of a new series in the context of everything I had created previously—always thinking about what’s another shape, another texture to keeping things fresh and evolving,” describes Larry Kornegay. “This is how Faceted came to be. I wanted something still inspired by nature, but with clean and contemporary lines to contrast the more traditional form of my first series, Ribbed. A cactus flower, with its elegant, repeating geometry, became the perfect inspiration.”

Available in three sizes ranging from 12” to 24” in height and 24” to 36” in diameter, the Faceted Series are concrete planters with faceted sides and a tapered silhouette. The landscape containers ship with the standard 2-⅜” diameter drainage hole, or custom hole to function with irrigation & drainage plumbing. The Faceted Series is available in 9 standard colors, with additional color mixing available, and can be finished in a bituminous sealer (suggested for interior applications) or sandblast finish.
